An afternoon by the creek

a cold, but beautiful afternoon at Oak Creek
showing off here new teeth (she had caps put on last week)

Matar

Avi goes in the water

Just for clarification these are NOT hot springs. They are snow fed springs with water just above freezing and outside temperatures just above freezing. A good friend once taught us that cold is a state of mind...

and sitting in the water for over 3 minutes

the girls go in...

following daddy's lead (not mommy's) the girls strip down and dip their feet in the ice cold water

I guess they say what doesnt kill you (or give you hypothermia) makes you stronger

time to dry up and get dressed

on the other side of the creek is a real cool forest so we crossed and played there for a while

Ophek running into the forest...she truly fits in

The Mountain ...

A beautiful sunny winter day

Playing in the yard

there is nothing more fun than muddy feet

Bhiya and Matar visiting the new steer

checking out the sheep

who are you calling back sheep?

much love to the sheep

Yes this is what it looks like, Ophek is riding a ram.

Ophek's first try ...

After some practice both Ophek and the ram get better at this

the games begin

Clayon brings out the knife and the games begin...

and getting creative

I didnt even catch the most of it, with Clayon's ninja role, Avi's mid air jump, and more ...

and for the REAL stuff

After on the ground, from a handstand, and other crazy roles knife throwing was perfected, the REAL challenge was on! Bareback-of a horse-t0 the target ...

Our new rat Mickey

Unfortunately we had to find a new home for our Rat Homer since he was a male and our Kiki is a girl...and we didnt want a rat farm. So after we found him a loving home we adopted a new female baby rat. Ophek called her Mickey, as in Mickey mouse (even though she is a rat)

Ophek is really excited! and to be honest the little baby rat is really the cutest thing!
