A Grand Canyon trip

on the first weekend we got back to the US we took a trip to the Grand Canyon. On the way, we stopped to ride the iron horses

at the end is a real cool point called Hermit's rest. Its the most western point you can reach on the rim. beautiful

Ophek found a real neat tree and went climbing

but then she continued climbing so high even daddy wasnt tall enough to help her and she did it ALL by herself! (daddy helped with getting down)

The sun started to set, it was time to start driving back home

then we got an amazing gift. We saw elk and deer from real close! It was really awesome

Then on the way back we saw the most magical sunset but no matter how many times we tried, we just couldnt capture its beauty on camera. Guess thats what eyes are for.

Back in Flagstaff

And we are back home in Flagstaff.

so jet legged we are making pancakes at 1:30am after sleeping from noon till midnight
